VERY IMPRESSED! I was afraid that even with snow tires I'd be in trouble. These Blizzak's ROCK. NO problems in light and moderate snow. Traction is excellent and they ride very nicely.
Snow condition traction is outstanding. In snow, I actually out accelerate all wheel drive vehicles in a Mustang. It is amazing. Directional stability feeling is unreal. You can easily become overconfident with the speed that you can drive on the low friction surfaces. I would like to take the car on a snow covered autocross course just to see what it can do!
This tire is awesome. Absolutely flawless in one of the worst winters of all time.
These tires ride both softer and quieter than the OEM tires. Grip is comparable to any other Blizzak I have ever owned which is is impressive given the sport intent of these tires. I have finished two winters on these now and I estimate I will get an additional two winters before requiring replacement- this surprised me given the highway driving that they get. I will definitely pick up another set once these ones lose their grip.
This is my first season with snow tires. I have always been an all season tire person. I decided to get some Blizzack LM-60's. I feel as in control with these tires in snow/ice as I do on dry pavement. They are the best tires I have ever owned. I have put about 10,000 miles on them traveling back and forth between Denver and the Mountains. They have seen as much as a foot of snow and my car was owning the road! Highly recommend if you want superior control! Once you go Blizzak you will never go back!
After years of dreading the tough winter driving conditions, I was finally convinced to try the Blizzaks...which came highly rated by every mechanic with whom I discussed snow tires. I was skeptical...I simply felt that winter = sliding and getting stuck. Boy was I wrong. I could not believe how good these tires were. My car easily went up snow covered hilly roads with no problem while all the other rear-wheel drive cars were sliding all over. I cannot say enough about how good these tires performed.
Hands down, the best winter weather tire. Tried them all, now have every vehicle in the family fleet shod with them. Not inexpensive, but worth every penny when you need them.
This tire was simply amazing during the snow this past winter. I drove with confidence and knew I had the best snow tires on the road. These tires saved me several times from accidents when other cars were sliding into my lane. I simply braked, let them slide through my lane and started going again. I'll never go another winter without having blizzak's on my car.
These tires shined in the blizzard we had in early 2011. When most people were sitting and spinning, I was confidently driving forward.
I wanted a full winter tire for my year round Mustang GT 5.0, 6 spd, and after researching many choices, I went with the LM-60. It has performed as expected, during my normal around the area driving, as well as on a 1,200 + mile round trip during the winter. This is the winter tire for me.
This is THE premier winter tire, and for good reason. Never again will I go another winter without a set of these. It's literally a night and day difference when driving on this tire in the snow, slush, and ice. We recently experienced one of the worst snow storms here - part of my area got hit with more than 20 inches of snow in less than a day. Even in the un-plowed driveways and side streets, I was able to get to work the next day with no problems! This is an excellent tire. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great set of snow tires.
I've just purchased these tires for my 2011 XJL SUPERCHARGED Jag. The original 20" wheels were changed to a 19" winter package. The ride is fantastic. No snow yet, will let you know. However I have used Blizzaks before and was impressed with their performance on my Mercedes CLK 430.
I do have an all wheel drive car but I tried multiple times to get stuck in the snow and it was not possible, they wouldn't even spin unless I tried to get them to. I love the tires and would recommend them to anyone looking for a great winter tire.
I have only had these tires for about two months, and I can say that they perform very well in winter conditions. These tires have never come close to slipping when starting/stopping on ice. I recommend these tires to everybody.
I've driven highway and city in some brutal winter storms. Major snow, sleet, and ice. With a very heavy and torque-y car (400 ft lbs) and it isn't easy finding a tire (especially not 18" ones) that can do the job. These can. While dozens of SUVs and trucks were careening off the highway in ice, these puppies kept us planted like a cat. These LM 60's are night and day improvement.
Great handling in the snow and ice. They corner better than expected. The ride is better and is quieter then the OE tires for my car.
These tires are awesome. They work perfectly in the winter. My last sets of Blizzaks lasted me about 50,000 miles. I would buy these tires again and again.
Can't believe how good the car performs in snow. Never thought a RWD could drive in the snow this well.
